Warranty Policy

Please review these policies carefully as they are the terms of sale that govern your purchases at Extreme Electronix Pty Ltd. They set out your rights and obligations with respect to your purchases, including important limitations and exclusions. Your placement of an order at www.extnix.com.au constitutes your agreement that these policies apply to the order, so be certain you understand them before you place your order. We guarantee that the products sold in our website, other than explicitly stated, are 100% brand new and free from defects in material and workmanship.
 
Warranty:
  • All our products come with a 12-month limited warranty.(unless otherwise stated)
  • Extnix and its employees are not liable for damages to a vehicle's electrical system, components, or interior panels due to improper installation. DIY customers install our products at their own risk.
  • We do not provide warranty repair or replacement for products damaged due to poor/DIY installation. We strongly recommend professional installation.
  • Compatibility with third-party devices (e.g., phones, USB storage devices) and software is not guaranteed, and we do not provide warranty coverage for such devices. 
  • Only use the provided harnesses for connecting our products to the vehicle's wiring as instructed in the installation manual. Using alternative harnesses may void the warranty.
  • Modifications to the supplied harnesses not approved by Extnix may void the warranty.
  • Our warranty does not cover products that are misused, damaged, installed incorrectly, or have third-party software containing malware or viruses.

Refund Policy:

  • Requests for a refund must be made within 30 days of receiving the products.
  • Customers are responsible for removing the product/s (if required), placing them in the original packaging, and returning them at their expense using registered post to our return address.
  • Once we receive the product/s, we will inspect and test them before processing a refund within 14 business days. Postage costs are non-refundable.
  • If the returned product/s are damaged or faulty, we may deny the refund or refund the purchase price minus the costs to restore the product/s.
  • After the 30-day period, we may offer a repair/replacement initially. If rejected, a refund at a reduced rate may be offered based on the duration of use.
  • Wrongly/By Mistake orders product will incur a 20% restocking Fee.
  • We encourage customers to contact us before making the purchase to confirm the compatibility of the product.

Warranty Repair Policy:

  • If there's a problem with our product/s, we'll attempt to resolve it through correspondence with the customer. If unsuccessful, we'll request the product/s to be sent back for repair or replacement.
  • The request for return/repair must be made within 12 months (unless otherwise stated) of the original purchase date.
  • Customers must receive authorization in text format before sending back the product/s.
  • All requested products/components must be returned, and any labor charges for removal are the customer's responsibility.
  • Return postage for warranty/repair is also the customer's responsibility.
  • Once we receive the products, we'll test, repair/replace any faulty components, and return them within 28 days.

Software Updates:

  • Some issues may be resolved through software updates, which customers are responsible for checking and installing.
  • We provide technical support for base software issues, but our warranty only covers hardware/harnesses.
