Reverse Camera Components:

1)      Camera

2)      6 Meter VAG Cable

3)      Power Cable for camera

How to Power the Reverse Camera

Reverse Camera is powered by connecting it to Reverse Light Positive (+12V) and Negative / ground terminals. (Red wire to Positive and Black to Negative)

How Video signal is transferred

Video signal is transferred via RCA Cable (with Male RCA connectors on both ends). One end is connected to the Camera and other end to the Reverse Camera Input cable at the back for the head unit. (Some cameras have a 4pin connector towards camera end and RCA socket at the head unit end.)

Reverse Trigger wire and its use:

Car head-unit switches to reverse mode when it receives a reverse signal. This signal is received via a reverse trigger wire usually connected to the same point where camera is powered (i.e. Reverse Positive).

In the Reverse Camera wiring there are 2 small Red cables on each end with RCA Plugs.

Camera End: Connect Red Cable on the camera end to Reverse Positive (+12V)

Unit End: Connect the Red Cable on the other end to the cable marked as BACK / REVERSE at the back of the head-unit.
